Cooking classes
The course is based on some general hints of the classic Italian cuisine to successively explore the
preparation of dishes that make up our typical Umbrian cuisine. Some elements will be
furthermore provided to optimize the organization and preparation of dishes. Our guests will be
able to participate to the preparation of: Appetizers, fresh homemade pasta, such as gnocchi or
tagliatelle or strangozzi/umbricelli (with water and flour), chicken, pork or lamb and typical
desserts.
The classes last approximately 2 hours.
At the end of the lesson, for dinner, it will be possible to taste the dishes prepared during the
course both inside our tasting room and outside, on the terrace overlooking the pond and the
valleys surrounding our farm.
The cost of the course is € 70,00 per person for a minimum of 4 participants up to a maximum of
10.
On request we organize personalized cooking courses for vegetarians and vegans.
Reservations are welcome. The course will be held in English/Italian.
Owner of the facility, Marco Silenzi will take you to the discovery of the traditional Umbrian
recipes. From an early age, his passion for cooking and for getting notions were passed down to
him by his grandmother Renata and his aunt Maria Luisa. At first self-taught and then achieving
the title of Chef at the Officine Farneto in Rome (Didactic direction of Chef Igles Corelli with Chef
Sandro Masci and Chef Patissier Giulia Steffanina), he became more and more passionate about
this world in full respect of the territory and its raw materials.
